1.3 Surface Quality
Lithium foil surface is flat, brightness, has no oil spot or other impurities, no visible oxide or nitride, no frilling, eyelet, fissure, crease or such bug, be patient of light process stripe and roller marking. Roil brim is trim, has not gap. Lithium foil should not have delamination and mixture.
1.4 Packaging
Lithium foil is wound onto spools then dry packed under argon in hermetically sealed aluminized polyester pouches. Please call for more details on packaging.
1.5 Safety/Handling/Storage
Complete information on product safety and handling is contained in the Material Safety Data Sheet. Always use good industrial hygiene when handling this product. Lithium foil reacts vigorously with water to give off corrosive lithium hydroxide and flammable hydrogen gas .
To maintain best quality, handle foil under inert atmosphere of where relative humidity is maintained below 2%.
Lithium foil will meet the product specifications for six months from the date of shipment, provided the product is stored the original unadulterated package.
1.6 Shipping Limitations
Shipments of lithium foil are described as “Lithium, UN 1415,” PG I.All shipments are Hazard Class 4.3 and require “Dangerous when wet” labels.
